Giants now have another amazing new perk...purple stars!The first group of purple star recipients was chosen yesterday, and you can see all the lenses on the SquidU forum topic.
So who earns these purple stars? Only Giant Squids can earn them, and only by being nominated. Every week, Squidoo will pick 15 hot topics and Giants can nominate their lenses or someone elses to earn purple stars! Up to 6 amazing lenses will be chosen...you can either create a new lens for the topic or choose one of your older ones, "classic" ones as Squidoo is calling them now. New lenses will have greater chances of being chosen, however, over older lenses for purple stars.
Purple stars give your lens a HUGE boost in lensrank, so if you haven't thought about going for Giant before, you should give it some thought now with this huge benefit.
